What we collect

Teachers give us an email address and a password (or sign in with Google), and the content of their page: name, photo, texts, classes, prices and the payment instructions they choose to show. Students who book a trial lesson give their name, their email, the time they picked, their time zone and language, and any answers to the teacher's questions.

What students share, and with whom

A booking goes to the teacher it was made with. The teacher sees it in their dashboard and gets an email about it. It is never shown on the teacher's public page and never sold. The student gets emails about the booking, with the teacher's payment instructions and, if the teacher shows one, their public contact email. Student details are never sent to the AI provider.

Companies that help us run LessonPage

Supabase stores the database, sign-ins and uploaded images. Vercel hosts the site and sees each visit's IP address and request. Resend sends our emails, so it sees each email's address and content. PostHog counts how LessonPage is used (see Analytics). DeepSeek, our AI provider, receives only the text a teacher asks it to draft, improve or translate. Cloudflare Turnstile, when a form shows its security check, sees the visitor's browser and IP address to tell people from bots. Each of them handles the data only to provide their service to us, and may process it outside your country.

Analytics

We count a few events, such as a page being viewed or a booking being sent. Analytics uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, records no clicks or screens on its own, and builds no profile of any person. The private link to a student's booking is never sent: its address is cut to /booking/:token, and nothing is counted on the booking page itself. Events sent from our server identify a person only by a scrambled code made from their email or account, which cannot be turned back into it. PostHog receives your IP address, as any website does.

How long we keep it

A teacher's account, page, bookings and students' answers stay until the teacher deletes the account. The records we use to limit requests (IP addresses for booking requests, account ids for confirmation emails and account deletion attempts) are deleted automatically within three days. Emails stay in Resend's sending log, and analytics events in PostHog, for the time their own policies set.

Deleting your data

Teachers can delete their account at any time in Settings (or, before their page is set up, on the first setup step): this removes the page, classes, bookings, students' answers and uploaded images. Students can write to us at the address below, with the email they booked with, and we will delete their bookings and answers.

Payments

LessonPage does not process payments. Teachers share their own payment instructions and students pay them directly.
